Newborn Photoshoot | Lebanon County, Pa.

Sweet Scarlett! This little darling came to my Lebanon County photo studio with her proud parents when she was 12 days old. Mom and dad requested blush pink along with neutral colors for their session.

One way I like to add visual interest to my newborn images is by including a variety of textures such as lace, fur, and chunky knits. Additionally, I used some subtle accents like florals, greenery, and a stuffed tiny teddy bear. Using wraps or swaddles allows for more variety, helps to calm an unsettled baby, and also allows for transitioning into different props and poses.

For all newborn photography sessions, I try to include a variety of wrapped and unwrapped poses. I keep the studio at a warm and toasty 80 degrees to help baby sleep and feel comfortable. A sound machine further helps to facilitate achieving a cozy and soothing atmosphere for newborns.
